Beef carcass bag questions

What is the difference between a beef shroud and a beef carcass bag?

Both cover beef carcasses. A carcass bag is a knitted tube closed at one end and pulled over the side or quarter. A shroud is traditionally a sheet wrapped around the side to smooth fat cover during chilling. We supply knitted bags and open shrouds; tell us how your team uses them.

Which material is strongest for beef?

Polyester and poly-cotton blends have the highest tensile strength and are preferred for heavy sides, frozen storage and long export routes. Heavy cotton is chosen where maximum absorbency matters.

How do I choose the right bag size for beef export?

Measure the weight range and the length of the sides or quarters you ship, and note the hanging method. Our guide How to choose the right carcass bag size walks through it, or send us the numbers and we size it for you.

How long does production and delivery take?

A full container load is typically produced in 10–14 business days from order confirmation. Transit time depends on the destination port. We ship FOB Istanbul, CIF your port or DAP your warehouse under Incoterms 2020.

Which payment terms do you accept?

Letter of Credit (L/C) and bank transfer (T/T). Terms for repeat buyers are agreed case by case.
